| This private home is a victorian townhouse in the Kensington section about 3 miles west of Piccadilly and just a short bus or "tube" ride into the city center. The hostess has a well furnished home full of paintings, with 2 guest rooms, both on the third floor (30 steps). The rooms are twin bedded and share a bathroom with a tub. This would suit a party of 3 or 4. There is a light and airy breakfast room which leads out into the rear garden. Kensington has a huge variety of cafes, restaurants, bars, pubs, nightclubs, department stores and specialty shopping, but perhaps best of all wonderful parks and world class museums. |
