| If you appreciate lush garden
squares and beautiful homes you could not ask for a more ideal location than Pembroke
Square. Your hostess welcomes you to her home which is a 4 story late Georgian house that
overlooks the charming garden square. There are private tennis courts available if you
wish to have a game otherwise the flower garden is open to you. The guest room is located
on the 2nd floor and has views of the garden square through the two large floor to ceiling
windows. There is either one king size bed or two twin beds, as you prefer, TV, dressing
area and en suite master bathroom with shower in bathtub. The room is romatically
decorated in pinks and green with crisp white linens. The atmosphere is of an English
country cottage. This is a non-smoking home and your hostess has a wonderful beagle named Snoopy. A continental breakfast is served each morning. The sitting room is elegant and comfortable and also has a TV for guest’s use and a fireplace. There are attractive front & rear Victorian gardens in which to relax. Tucked into a corner of the square is a lovely traditional English pub for good hearty meals or just a quick drink. There are also great restaurants, cafes and lots of shopping in Kensington. The famous Portobello Road Antique Market is only a 15 minute walk away through the nearby Holland Park. The popular shopping district of Kensington High Street is just a 2 minute walk away as well. The Olympia Exhibition Hall is an easy 10 minute walk and often has everything from horse shows to gardening expositions to car shows. |
