One of the largest homes that we offer, this is a brick-built Georgian town house dating from the early 1800's. There is a housekeeper present as well as the family, who also own the adjoining property. There are very few five storey private residences of this size in London. This home offers nine guest bedrooms, all of which have en-suite bathrooms attached or private bathrooms adjacent. There is a large breakfast room set on the ground floor and also a lounge available on the second floor. There is no elevator, but you will find the low steps an easy walk. All the rooms have been tastefully remodelled (the owners deal in antiques) and there is also a telephone and t.v. in each room. This is a very central location, with an accordingly large number of services, landmarks and amenities. Many small parks and garden squares dot this part of town. The very busy shopping districts of Oxford Street and Bond Street are nearby, as are the famous Madame Tussaud's Waxworks and the Planetarium. Baker Street (of Sherlock Holmes fame) is just a few steps away with Harley Streets famous clinics a short walk. Very easy access into the West End Theatre District and the sights.
