Located in the heart of Mayfair, London's most prestigious district, this
brick Georgian period home offers two guest-rooms each with a queen-sized bed
and a private en-suite bathroom. One of the guest rooms, a double with an
en-suite bathroom is on the third floor, while another twin bedded room
with a private bathroom adjacent is up one more flight on the fourth
floor. Along with the guest-rooms the host
invites you to relax in the common sitting room or enjoy the view of the lush
garden from the patio. This is a non-smoking home.
Although there are two "tube" stops, both about a six-minute walk, you will
probably find that most everything you will want to see is within easy
walking distance from the home. Sights such as Bond Street which offers
world-class boutique shopping, or Grovenor Square which is one of the oldest
in Mayfair (1720) are only minutes away from this elegant property. The Ritz
Hotel is also nearby and is a wonderful place to take English afternoon tea.
You are also just minutes from Green Park, Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace
Gardens. There are many royal residences with beautiful works of art and antiques that you can visit like Lancaster House, Clarence House,
Marlborough House, Spencer House, St. James Palace, and Apsley House. There are also
several royal churches such as the Queen's Chapel and St. James Church. As far as museums go there are many to keep you busy such as the Museum of
Mankind, Faraday Museum, Queen's Gallery, Institute of Contemporary Arts, Royal Academy of Arts and the Royal Mews. Mayfair has the best of everything
that London has to offer: atmosphere, dining, shopping, parks, squares, and
museums.
